Witness the Dawn

Witness the Dawn

Behind raspy rhythms
two eyes illume
drawing deep breath
in the amethyst gloom.

Where firefly’s light
holds the hours of June
and twilight skies
drink the silver moon.

Upon the horizon
the angels glow
amongst the clouds
where endless dreams go.

They shine their brilliance
red empathies flow
to warm the essence
of creation below.
