Where’s the Future?
Golden dreams of moral essence,
grace the hearts of our youth,
they grow to build our tomorrow’s,
when guided by the truth.
Instead, today we build illusions,
and teach the children lies,
the future rests on their conclusions,
new beginning, or demise.
The world is plagued by confusion,
corporate media governs fools,
our establishments in collusion,
with banks who make up the rules.
A web of ledgers owned by few,
consolidates well being,
usurping life they take it all,
while they're overseeing.
So, what do we tell our children,
about the world they will inherit,
the lies that lace our history books,
or the truth that earns demerit.
I wonder what professors think,
when discovering history’s fake,
there is no sense of urgency,
and nothing seems at stake.
